What is it?
A fun, festive party where you can wear your wedding dress again. Celebrate your marriage (or freedom from it.) Enjoy your night, see your friends and talk to your partner – something not all brides found the time to do during their actual wedding. It’s a chance to spring for the styles you didn’t dare on your big day: crazy hair, colorful accessories, comfortable shoes. A night on the town that calls for dressing to the nines. A celebration of romance, timeless fashion and happily ever after.
Recent brides, happily married couples, industry friends & Misses who want to wear a fabulous dress. Gentlemen are invited too, of course!
What’s included in the ticket price?
The ticket price includes food & drink (heavy passed hors d’oeuvres and an open bar), DJ + dancing, a photo booth, mad lib vow renewals, hand-lettered anniversary ‘tattoos’, take-home favors and admittance to the festive 3-hour party supporting a great cause, the St. Mary’s Soup Kitchen.
Who puts it on?
Over Easy Events is planning. Propcellar is hosting. Maggie Louise Bridal Boutique is sponsoring. Very special vendors in the industry helping pull off a fabulous party: Everbloom Designs, CFY Catering, Baltic Studios Calligraphy and others!
Who does this benefit?
Ticket sales and sponsorships cover the costs of putting on the event. Net proceeds will be donated to our 2015 charity partner, the St. Mary’s Soup Kitchen.
What if my wedding dress was trashed/donated/too big or small?
If your favorite-dress-in-the-world didn't make it through the honeymoon, you've got options! We've teamed up with Maggie Louise Bridal Boutique to provide opportunities for new dresses, accessories and other frills. Limited sample dresses are available off the rack and new dresses can be ordered in time from specific designers.
I'm not married—can I still attend?
Of course! We encourage everyone to wear the dress they never thought they’d have the chance to again – maybe a bridesmaid dress or a gala ball gown? Don’t expect to get married? Buy the white dress you never needed but always wanted (and save it should the occasion arise; you’ll be one step ahead!)
